Greatest value for area. For being a county course, Green Tree offers a challenge for beginners, and more experienced golfers a challenge also because of the tight fairways. The condition currently could be better (I have seen it better), but overall, you can't beat $12 dollars

Short course with fairly narrow fairways. The day before Thanksgiving the fairways left much to be desired and the tees were bare in some spots. However a good, cheap ($12 off peak weekday) to work on your game.

Overall condition of the course is fair, due to a lack of grass in certain parts of the fairways. Some of the tees are not especially level and have been reseeded. The fairways aren't especially wide, but a beginner like myself can keep the ball in play most of the time. For a beginner, the lack of really long holes is a blessing, however longer hitters will find the course short. For a county owned course, Green Tree, offers very affordable golf on a course that can be very challenging.
